Minqi Wang (靈點) is a pipa player, indie artist, music producer, and passionate advocate for Chinese culture. Based in Massachusetts, she specializes in blending traditional Chinese melodies with contemporary Western influences, creating a distinctive fusion of Eastern and Western music. With performances across China, Israel, Germany, the Philippines, Spain, and beyond, she bridges cultures through her innovative artistry. Minqi holds a PhD in Food Science from the University of Massachusetts and is the founder and CEO of Ideation Foods. She was the founding president of the UMass Chinese Culture Association and former leader of the Chinese Orchestra at China Agricultural University. A scholarship recipient at Berklee College of Music, she earned her master’s degree in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation (MPTI).
